WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional.
A Real Estate Agent, must go to a Licensed Real Estate School, successfully pass the class exam, apply with the State to take the State Exam, and pass the State Exam, before being issued a Real Estate License. There are post exam classes required as well in order for the license to remain valid.
A Real Estate Broker in the State of Florida must have at least two years experience as a Real Estate Sales Associate, take intensive additional training and class time through a licensed Real Estate School, complete the final class exam successfully, and pass a State Exam successfully.
In addition, a background check is performed, and fingerprints are required. This is to ensure the public, that the professional has a clean record and is knowledgable in their field. They must also successfully pass additional continuing education classes in order for their license to be valid.
Continuing education is an important part of keeping up with the evolving trends in Real Estate.
